Getting to Zero 2030 Coalition: Advancing the transition to zero emission ships

We are one of four port authorities participating in the global coalition Getting to Zero 2030. Our involvement is one way we can encourage the global maritime industry to adopt environmentally responsible practices that protect our natural environment.

We are one of 74 members, of the recently launched Getting to Zero 2030 Coalition. The coalition is a partnership between the Global Maritime Forum, the Friends of Ocean Action, and the World Economic Forum and calls for public and private organizations around the world to support and encourage the marine industry to transition to zero emission cargo ships to help meet its greenhouse gas emissions reduction goal by 2030.

Global attention and collaboration is needed to make this transition possible and we are taking action to support this goal.
