Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI): E190215-01 Clean Trucking Initiative Pilot Program
The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, in collaboration with the Province of British Columbia and TransLink (the Collaborating Organizations), is proposing an initiative to explore alternative fuel source container trucks with the participation of the container trucking community. The program will explore and trial new technologies, and the accompanying infrastructure, to support the evolution of the industry and the future of the gateway.
In order to provide opportunities for drivers and companies to trial alternative energy trucks, the Collaborating Organizations are seeking Expressions of Interest from respondents with experience delivering one or more of the following:
- Alternative energy Class-8 on-road trucks or yard trucks, including but not limited to: natural gas, propane, electric, hydrogen, hybrids, etc.
- Energy providers including but not limited to: natural gas, propane, electricity, hydrogen, renewable diesel (HDRD), etc.
- Energy Infrastructure providers including but not limited to: fueling stations, fueling trucks, recharging stations, etc.

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is seeking to prequalify a shortlist of eligible proponents that may receive future Requests for Proposals related to the provision of engineering design services for port authority led Great Vancouver Gateway 2030 projects.
