In April 2024, WWL Vehicle Services Canada Ltd submitted a project permit application to develop Warehouse upgrades – Annacis Auto Terminal, located at 820 Dock Road, Delta, British Columbia on federal lands managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.

As part of the Project and Environmental Review  for the proposed project under the Impact Assessment Act, the proposed project was posted on the Canadian Impact Assessment Registry with an opportunity for public comment between April 22 and May 21, 2024. The port authority will conduct formal consultation activities with stakeholders and Indigenous groups.

About the project

WWL Vehicle Services Canada Ltd. is proposing to replace the current asphalt floor in their warehouse located at the Annacis Auto Terminal. In addition, to bring the warehouse up to the current 2020 Building Code a new warehouse pallet racking system will be installed, and a new fire suppression system will be installed complete with a fire pump and backup generator. New lighting and electrical room upgrades will occur as well.

The project involves the following work:

  1. Excavation and installation of a water line.
  2. Excavation and installation of some electrical.
  3. Expansion of the warehouse building for a new room to house the water pump.
  4. A new water pump.
  5. A new backup generator.
  6. A new racking system and fire suppression system for the warehouse building.
