Project status
Permit issued

On January 4, 2024 a project permit was issued to Musqueam Capital Corporation to undertake Stautlo property renovation at 9829 River Road in Delta, British Columbia on federal lands managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.

The project was approved subject to 32 permit conditions the applicant must meet to ensure the project does not result in significant adverse environmental effects. Please see the Impact Assessment Act Registry for the Notice of Intent and Notice of Decision.

About the project

The proposed property renovation includes the following: 

  • Regrading and paving of driving surfaces along the east, south and west building perimeters 
  • Repair of pavement structure at two locations at building perimeter. 
  • Installation of 4 storm sewer catch basins connecting to existing outfalls to the river. 
  • Installation of 2 storm sewer lines connecting to existing outfalls to the river. 
  • Installation of 1 oil water separator.
  • Installation of 2 concrete sanitary holding tanks. 
  • Installation of 1 waterline connecting to watermain. 
  • Decommissioning of an existing sanitary holding tank south of the building. 
  • Abandonment of utility lines (those that conflict with proposed utilities).
