About the project
Imperial Oil is proposing modifications to their existing marine gas oil (MGO) piping system on their dock to debottleneck the piping system and increase MGO flow rates at their Ioco terminal. The project includes:
- Installation of approximately 60 metres of new piping
- Installation of piping supports and anchor bolted to the concrete dock
- Installation of flow meters, control valves, and a motor operated valve
- Relocation of the existing ship loader connections for MGO
Installation of the new equipment would be completed from the dock using a pipe dolly lifting device, spider cranes, and handheld power tools.
