Permit issued

On September 14, 2023 a project permit was issued to Calta Construction Inc to install a new moorage buoy. The project is located in the Burrard Inlet within the water of Port Moody, British Columbia, in Federal waters managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.

The project was approved subject to 31 number permit conditions the applicant must meet to ensure the project does not result in significant adverse environmental effects.

About the project 

Calta Construction Inc. proposes to install a new moorage buoy for barge and boat moorage. The project would consist of installing a concrete anchor block, chain and buoy. The top third of the buoy would be coloured orange for Transport Canada compliance. The moorage site would moor barges and other support vessel(s).
