For more than 20 years, we have proactively created, restored and enhanced habitat throughout the Lower Mainland to benefit our region’s fish and wildlife and help maintain a balance between a healthy environment and future development projects that may be required for port operations.
Some examples of our recently completed work include the Glenrose tidal marsh project in Delta and New Brighton Park shoreline habitat restoration project in Vancouver.
For a list of completed, current and ongoing habitat enhancement projects around the Lower Mainland, see our habitat restoration page.
