Come celebrate World Maritime Day at the Port of Vancouver, an event to celebrate the local maritime community and educate the public on port operations and initiatives. This family-friendly community event will feature exhibitor’s booths and displays, on water demonstrations, musical performances, community activations, speaker presentations, public harbour tours and much more!

World Maritime Day was established by the International Maritime Organization, with celebrations held internationally to recognize the importance of shipping safety, maritime security and the marine environment. The theme for this year is ‘Empowered Women in the Maritime Community’.

Public Harbour Tours:

Back by popular demand, the Port of Vancouver will be hosting family-friendly guided boat tours of the inner harbour on Saturday, September 26. Experience the sights and sounds of a busy harbour while learning about Canada’s largest and most diversified port.
