Cruise: itinerary cancellations

The Holland America Group notified the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority that they have made the extremely difficult decision to cancel all 2020 Alaska gulf cruise and cruise tour programs, as well as all Land+Sea Journeys. This is due to the expanding travel restrictions, extended closures of ports, limited air travel, and “stay-at-home” orders in many countries around the world in light of COVID-19.

For the Port of Vancouver, this means the cancellation of the following homeported Holland America Group vessels for the 2020 season:

• Volendam
• Westerdam
• Noordam
• Maasdam
• Royal Princess
• Grand Princess
• Coral Princess
• Pacific Princess

The Koningsdam will remain in operation with plans to restart roundtrip sailings from Vancouver to Alaska on Saturday, July 4.

Windstar Cruises and Cunard have announced the cancellation of all their Alaska calls in 2020.
