Installation of non-hydraulic boat lift

Permit issued

In March 2021, a project permit was issued to the upland owner to install a non-hydraulic boat lift to an existing recreational dock located at 5191 Coombe Lane, Belcarra, British Columbia on federal lands managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.

The project was approved subject to 23 permit conditions that upland owner must meet to ensure the project does not result in significant adverse environmental effects.

About the project

The boat lift is approximately ten feet wide by nineteen feet long and will be installed using two removable hinges. The boat lift will allow for the recreational boat to be lifted from the water surface.
