In March 2023, GCT Canada Ltd Partnership (“the Applicant”) submitted a project permit application to develop Operation Supervisor facility – Vanterm, located at 1300 Stewart Street, in Vancouver, British Columbia on federal lands managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.

As part of the Project and Environmental Review  for the proposed project under the Impact Assessment Act, the proposed project was posted on the Canadian Impact Assessment Registry with an opportunity for public comment between March 3 and April 1, 2023.

About the project

The Applicant is proposing to install a second floor, approximately 40 square metres, on top of an existing modular building, to accommodate an increase in staff, at their site. The building would be built off site and would include a washroom facility. A sanitary line, approximately 61 metres long and 1.8 metres deep and a water supply line, approximately 33 metres in length and 1.2 metres deep, would be installed to service the building.
