Exterior Modifications for Amazon
In July 2021, a project permit was issued to PIRET (16133 Blundell Road) Holdings Inc to undertake exterior modifications to an existing building located at 16131 Blundell Road, Richmond, BC, on lands managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.
The project was approved subject to 32 permit conditions that PIRET must meet to ensure the project does not result in significant adverse environmental effects.
About the project
PIRET (16133 Blundell Road) Holdings Inc. are proposing to undertake some exterior modifications to an existing building located at 16131 Blundell Road, Richmond, BC. The proposed works include the following:
- Installation of two 24 square metre guardhouses, one 84 square metre smoker’s shelter and parking lot structures, including, site trailer and first aid with associated utility install
- Replacement of an electrical substation, access stairs and ramps and the installation of a generator, exterior site signage, flagpoles and a control egress barrier
- Parking lot improvements which includes, excavation of asphalt and installation of new concrete slabs, dolly pads and small landscape areas, with associated line painting, parking barriers and numbering
- Any additional related improvements
