Neptune Bulk Terminals | Dredging to deepen berth 1
Project Status
Permit amendment issued
In September 2020, a minor permit amendment, No. 18-027-2, was issued to Neptune Bulk Terminals (Canada) Ltd. The amendment extends the expiry date of the permit from October 31, 2020 to February 28, 2021.
This extension will allow Neptune to carry out remaining small percentage of dredging works unable to be completed during the previous least risk fish window due to construction and operational scheduling constraints. Work is to be completed under existing management plans and permit conditions.
About previous amendments and the original permit:
On March 27, 2020, a minor amendment, PER No. 12-066-1 was approved by Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. The amendment approved work outside of standard construction hours (as set out in Permit condition No. 23).
On April 8, 2020, a minor amendment, project permit No. 18-027-1, was approved by Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. The amendment extended the permit expiry date from February 29, 2020 to October 31, 2020.
