Permit issued

In April 2021, a project permit was issued to DP World Fraser Surrey Limited Partnership to upgrade their existing wash bay at 11060 Elevator Road in Surrey, BC on lands managed by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority.

The project was approved subject to 31 permit conditions that upland owner must meet to ensure the project does not result in significant adverse environmental effects.

About the project

DP World Fraser Surrey Limited Partnership is proposing to upgrade their existing wash bay that is used for power washing of heavy equipment, truck and mobile equipment at their terminal located at 11060 Elevator Road in Surrey. The works will require approximately 380 square metres of excavation to remove and replace the existing asphalt and wash water collection barrel and some trenching for the installation of new pipes to collect, treat and dispose of the wastewater. The works are expected to take approximately 4 months to complete and will be undertaken during regular standard working hours.
