Recent appointments to Vancouver Fraser Port Authority board of directors

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, in conjunction with the Minister of Transport and the Nominating Committee, has announced four appointments to the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority’s board of directors:

  • Catherine McLay, a new director, appointed for a three-year term
  • Lisa Ethans, a new director, appointed for a three-year term
  • Richard Turner, an existing director, reappointed for a term ending June 18, 2018
  • Eugene Kwan, an existing director, reappointed for a term ending May 13, 2019

The appointments were made on the recommendation of port users.

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority’s board of directors is composed of 11 members: one federal appointee; one British Columbia provincial appointee; one appointee for the Prairie Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba; one municipal appointee; and, seven federal appointees recommended by port users.
