Charlotte Argue, Program Manager for Plug In B.C., discusses the recent rising popularity of electric vehicles. Through cheaper batteries, and growing charging options the market is accelerating to meet increasing consumer demand for electric vehicles. Last year the Port of Vancouver experienced an astounding 83 per cent increase in imports over the previous year. With more than 30 different models of electric vehicles now available in B.C., alongside many incentives and benefits, electric vehicles and related charging infrastructure is expected to continue to grow.
