Massey Tunnel replacement — Learn from the past and look to the future
Vancouver Sun, April 3, 2016
The plan to replace the existing George Massey Tunnel with a 10-lane bridge has been a topic of discussion recently.

“With the largest container port in Canada located south of the Fraser River, this crossing is, and will continue to be, an integral part of Canada’s west coast trade gateway,” writes Sashaw. “Projections indicate that if trade and economic development south of the Fraser continues to grow, total commercial traffic across this section of Highway 99 could double by 2045.” Read more.
