Project Permit Application

As you may know, the Impact Assessment Act came into effect on August 28, 2019. Please note, the changes will affect our review timelines for some Category A and B project permits. Please visit our Project and Environmental Review page for Applicants for more information.

To submit an application for a Project and Environmental Review Project Permit, please complete the appropriate application on our online application portal.

Before submitting an application, please consult the Project and Environmental Review application guide, categories document, and works and activities exclusion list available on our guidelines page. Category C and D projects must first request a preliminary project review.

How to use the portal

Launch the online portal to access the site. Registration for a personal user account is required.

When applying for a permit, a file is instantly created for your project as soon as you enter a title and click next.

You can complete your application fully at this time, or save and continue your application later. This is also the place applicants can review their application content after submitting.
