Join marine responders in Downtown Vancouver for a free, family-friendly event to kick off Safe Boating Awareness Week, a nationwide initiative to create public awareness about boating safety.
The event features on-water safety demonstrations, interactive learning opportunities, and a chance to see response vessels in action.
Hosted by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority in partnership with the Canadian Safe Boating Council, the event includes participation from Boating BC, Canadian Coast Guard, Jericho Sailing Centre, Mustang Survival, Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Transport Canada, and the Vancouver Police Department.
