West Coast Reduction Ltd. (WCRL) is a leader in the rendering industry, operating technologically advanced rendering plants in Vancouver, Nanaimo, Calgary, Edmonton, and Saskatoon. Fats and oils produced at West Coast Reduction's plants arrive by insulated rail tankers at its rendering plant / bulk storage terminal on the south shore of Burrard Inlet in the Port of Vancouver. Product is pumped through underground lines to designated storage tanks prior to loading and shipping. West Coast Reduction also operates a commercial tank farm with a storage capacity of more than 57,000 metric tonnes.

Commodities: Inedible tallow, feather meal, poultry meal, blood meal, fish meal(s), fish oil.

Facilities: 74,000 tonnes liquid storage tank facility, handling various oils such as tallow, fish oil and canola oils. Tank area surrounded by retaining wall for increased spill security. Pumping capacity is up to 500 metric tonnes per hour.

Berths: Two berths that can accommodate container ships and large bulk tankers, equipped with underground pipelines for loading or unloading various oils.
