Kinder Morgan operates the Westridge Marine Terminal in the Port of Vancouver from which crude oil is shipped overseas. Aviation turbine fuel is imported and stored at Westridge for delivery to Vancouver International Airport via Kinder Morgan's jet fuel pipeline.

Commodities: Crude petroleum, petroleum products, jet fuel.

Berths: Main dock face 91.4 metres long, 305 metres between extreme mooring dolphins, depth alongside 11 metres, vessels up to 250 metres in length, or approximately 100,000 dwt

Storage: Jet fuel storage in three storage tanks at Westridge Terminal with overall volume of 45,500 m3 (286,200 bbl). Off site connected crude petroleum storage with overall volume of approx 120,000 cubic metres (750,000 bbl).

Equipment:
  • NPS 24 petroleum export line with two NPS 12 articulated loading arms
  • NPS 10 vapour line connection to scrubber and vapour oxidizer for treatment of vapours emitted during loading with NPS 10, 30 metre long hose
  • Telescoping boom crane with extension to 18.4 metres
  • Direct connections to large storage tank farm and the trunk pipeline from Alberta
  • Jet fuel off-loading manifold includes two 6" x 150 lb. flanges with adaptors to 8 inch
  • A jet fuel pipeline connects to the Vancouver International Airport
Flow rates: Loading at 2,650 cubic metres per hour. Unloading rates 1,600 cubic metres per hour.

Facilities: Tankers must be equipped with SBT, COW, IGS and capable of connection to vapour control systems. Contact terminal for specific equipment requirements.
