CANEXUS Chemicals Canada LP's chlor-alkali facility is located on the north shore of Burrard Inlet. The site’s location provides flexible transportation and logistics options to meet the varied needs of customers. The ISO 9002 certified plant is a model for safe production and handling practices in the production of chlorine, sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid. The plant is committed to the Canadian Chemical Producers Association initiative called "Responsible Care" and has also won railway safe shipper awards from Canadian National, Canadian Pacific, BNSF, Union Pacific and CSXT numerous times, demonstrating their commitment to the safe transportation of their products.

Commodities Handled: Imported bulk sea salt. Caustic soda and sodium chlorate for export.

Berth: Length 152 metres plus mooring floats 243 metres apart, depth alongside 10.66 metres.

Salt Storage: Two tanks of 11,000 tonnes each plus surfaced pad of 35,000 tonnes capacity.

Rail Services: Total in yard rail: 5,877 metres. Serviced by: CN Rail
