Located on the north shore of the Port of Vancouver and operated by Western Stevedoring, the Lynnterm facility is the consolidation centre for forest products, steel and breakbulk in the Pacific Northwest. Lynnterm's location provides an unrestricted navigational gateway to the Pacific Rim. Western Stevedoring specializes in the handling of forest products while offering quality cargo care combined with high productivity turn-around translates into efficient and productive service. Western Stevedoring offers specialized handling equipment and a dedicated supervisory management team to consistently deliver the resources and equipment to manage the movement of cargo.

Commodities Handled: Wood pulp and paper, lumber, panel products, logs, steel products, project cargo, machinery.

Berths: 7 berths, 1,516 m. long (4,974 ft.) all concrete, depth alongside 12 - 15 metres (50') at low water.

Site: 59 ha. Site (145 acres) 81,750 sq. m. covered storage (876,000 sq. ft.)380,000 sq. m. open storage space (4.08 million sq. ft.).

Warehouses: Eight warehouses comprising 81,750 square metres (876,000 square feet) designed for storage of forest products, general cargo and steel, serviced by rail trackage, with covered loading aprons for trucks and railcars.

Rail Services: Direct service by the Canadian National Railway (CN) and interchange with all major railways. Approximately 9 km (5.6 miles) of track providing direct access to warehouse and storage area. A track along the dock face backed by an extensive holding area provides direct transfer-to/from-railcar capabilities. Railcar shunting equipment is available for switching on the site.

Equipment: Over 200 pieces of specialized equipment with lift truck capacities up to 42,000 kg. (92,000 lb.) and trailer capacities up to 75,000 kg. (165,000 lb.) as well as clamp trucks with zinc-coated clamps, surf boards, stainless-steel decked trailers and custom landing platforms for optimum cargo protection.

Other: Advanced computerized pulp-inventory-management system, password protected access for up-to-date cargo tracking information 24 hours per day worldwide; weather-protected unloading areas; compressed-air stations to ensure product care; quality assurance ISO 9001:2000 certified.
