Vancouver Port Authority (VPA) is committed to conducting its corporate affairs in a responsible manner to safe guard the environment and the health and safety of its employees, customers and the public.

VPA is committed to a sustainable economy within the context of protecting against deterioration of the environment generally and remediating, where appropriate, environmental degradation which has occurred within Vancouver Harbour.

VPA will comply with all applicable environmental legislation and will pursue a course of due diligence. To this end, the VPA Board shall appoint one of its members to liaise with the Environmental Appraisal Committee in support of its objectives.
