The Vancouver Port Authority's Marine Operations and Security (MOS) Department responsibilities include marine traffic management in conjunction with the Canadian Coast Guard and Pacific Pilotage Authority, pollution control via ship inspections and marine patrols, navigational/safety advice, and emergency preparedness for the port. In fulfilling these responsibilities we work in partnership with a broad range of stake holders including: municipalities, police forces and federal agencies.
