Special Events & Application Form
Prior to submitting a special event application, site availability can be confirmed with the Vancouver Port Authority's (“VPA”) Real Estate department at 604.665.9196.
It is recommended that all Applicants review the Short Term Use Guideline prior to the completing the application form. To request an event location, VPA requires an authorized representative of the company/organization to submit a completed Special Event Application Form. Effective August 1, 2006, a non-refundable Application Charge of $100 plus GST or full payment is required, at least two (2) days prior to VPA preparing a Special Event Agreement. This application charge will be applied to the event charge upon the signing of the licence agreement. Completed application forms must be submitted to VPA no later than five (5) business days before the requested date(s). On case by case basis, VPA will consider a request for an event that is received less than five (5) business days of the requested date(s). Any use that includes pyrotechnics, stunts and/or special effects requires additional approvals and must be submitted with the application form.
