March 7, 2006 Orient Overseas Container Line of Hong Kong to celebrate maiden voyage of OOCL Vancouver at Canada Place

March 7, 2006 MEDIA ADVISORY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is hosting a ceremony for the inaugural voyage of the OOCL Vancouver, the newest addition to the OOCL container line. The new container vessel the largest container vessel ever at Canada Place will be docked for the official ceremony on Tuesday, March 7, 2006, following loading at Deltaport terminal. The OOCL Vancouver will launch the new Pacific North Express (PNX) service, which will see Vancouver as the first North American port of call on the 42-day round-trip route from Asia. The OOCL Vancouver is the first vessel delivered in OOCLs order for eight new 5,888-TEU ships.
