Prior to submitting a filming application, site availability may be confirmed with the Vancouver Port Authority's (“VPA”) Real Estate department at 604.665.9196.

It is recommended that all Applicants review the Short Term Use Guideline prior to completing the application form.

To request a filming location, VPA requires an authorized representative of the production company to submit a completed filming application form.

Effective August 1, 2006, a non-refundable Application Charge of $100 plus GST or full payment is required, at least two (2) days prior to VPA preparing a Filming Agreement. This application charge will be applied to the filming charge upon the signing of the licence agreement.

Completed application forms must be submitted to VPA no later than five (5) business days before the requested date(s). On case by case basis, VPA will consider a request for an event that is received less than five (5) business days of the requested date(s).

Any use that includes pyrotechnics, stunts and/or special effects requires additional approvals and must be submitted with the application form.

The submission of an application to VPA within the stipulated dates does not guarantee a license will be issued.
